Health checks
Use Teldrive liveness and readiness endpoints.
GET /health/live
GET /health/readyLiveness
/health/live returns 200 when the process can serve HTTP:
{
"status": "ok",
"version": "X.Y.Z"
}Use it for process restart decisions.
Readiness
/health/ready returns 200 when Teldrive is ready for application traffic and 503 when required runtime/database state is unavailable.
Use it for load-balancer routing.
Test
curl -fsS http://127.0.0.1:8080/health/live
curl -fsS http://127.0.0.1:8080/health/readyFor public deployments, also test the HTTPS path:
curl -fsS https://drive.example.com/health/readyKubernetes
livenessProbe:
httpGet:
path: /health/live
port: 8080
periodSeconds: 20
readinessProbe:
httpGet:
path: /health/ready
port: 8080
periodSeconds: 10Container note
The official runtime image is distroless and has no shell, curl, or wget. Use orchestrator-native HTTP probes or an external monitor.
Alert on sustained readiness failures, restart loops, or disagreement between local and public HTTPS checks.
