First login and verification

1. Sign in

Open the UI and complete Telegram login.

Keep security.data-key stable; it encrypts the stored Telegram session.

2. Test storage

Create a folder, upload a small file, then download it again. This verifies the API, Telegram storage path, and PostgreSQL metadata.

3. Restart Teldrive

docker compose restart teldrive

Reload the UI and verify the account, file listing, and download still work.

4. Restart PostgreSQL

docker compose restart postgres

After PostgreSQL is healthy, verify the same data again. Failure here usually means database storage was not persisted or secrets changed.

5. Check logs

docker compose logs --tail=200 teldrive

Investigate repeated database, migration, authentication, or Telegram reconnect errors.

Before public access

Complete the Production checklist: HTTPS, access restrictions, backups, trusted proxies, and pinned releases.
